The Vermont Maple Festival is a popular annual celebration that honours Vermont’s maple syrup industry, agricultural heritage and local traditions.
Held in downtown St. Albans, the three-day festival welcomes spring with maple syrup tastings, maple-themed food, pancake breakfasts, cooking demonstrations and artisan markets. Visitors can enjoy live music, entertainment, craft exhibitions, local vendors, maple product competitions and family-friendly activities.
One of the major highlights is the traditional Sunday parade featuring marching bands, community organisations, tractors, colourful floats and local groups. The festival also celebrates the hard work of Vermont’s maple producers and showcases the importance of maple syrup production to the state’s culture and economy.
The 2027 edition marks the festival’s 60th anniversary under the theme “Sweet Traditions with Strong Roots.”
