Big Hole Valley Skijoring is an annual winter sporting event held at Wisdom Airport in Wisdom, Montana. The competition combines horseback riding and skiing in a fast-paced sport where a horse and rider pull a skier along a course featuring jumps, gates and ring grabs.

The 2027 event is scheduled over two days. On Saturday, the programme begins with a Salute to Veterans at noon, followed by the first races at 12:30 PM. Sunday racing is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM.

Spectators can watch competitors demonstrate their speed, coordination and skill while enjoying the winter atmosphere of the Big Hole Valley. The event also features food vendors and refreshments. Suggested gate donations are $5 per car or $3 per person, supporting the Big Hole Valley Association’s veterans and community initiatives.

The event offers an opportunity for residents and visitors to experience a distinctive Montana winter sport and support local community activities.
