First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is one of North America’s largest and longest-running automotive exhibitions. The 2027 edition is its 119th show and takes place at McCormick Place. It brings together vehicles from a wide range of manufacturers, allowing visitors to explore new models, automotive designs and developments in vehicle technology. The event’s attractions include indoor test tracks and outdoor test drives, where attendees can experience selected vehicles firsthand.

Chi-Town Alley celebrates Chicago’s car culture, while Overlanding Chicago showcases specialist vehicles and equipment associated with outdoor travel and exploration. A dedicated Family Zone provides an area for younger visitors and families. The show offers an opportunity for car enthusiasts, prospective buyers and general visitors to compare vehicles and learn about the latest automotive developments.
