Lights on the Bay 2026–2027
Lights on the Bay is an annual drive-through holiday light show at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland, benefiting the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. The 2026–2027 season marks its 32nd year, with a roughly two-mile Chesapeake Bay route featuring about 70 animated and stationary displays.
Dates, hours, and admission
The main drive-through runs November 23, 2026–January 3, 2027, every night including holidays. Hours are 5–9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 5–10 p.m. Friday–Saturday; admission is $25 per car, $40 for large passenger vans/minibuses, or $60 for buses and oversized group vehicles. Optional 3D glasses cost $5 while supplies last.
What the drive is like
The attraction follows a two-mile route along the Chesapeake Bay, combining traditional holiday scenes with displays reflecting Annapolis and the region. A nightly scavenger hunt gives children things to spot among the lights, while visitors can tune their car radios to 97.1 FM for holiday music during the drive.
Lights & Leashes
Before vehicle nights begin, Lights & Leashes turns the route into a walk-through experience on November 20–22, 2026. Guests can walk the approximately two-mile paved route with their dogs; the event also advertises pet-friendly vendors and photos with Santa, with proceeds likewise supporting the SPCA.
