BICSI Winter 2027
BICSI Winter 2027 is BICSI’s flagship winter conference and exhibition for information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure professionals, running February 14–18, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center’s West Building in Orlando, Florida. Its 2027 program emphasizes AI-driven infrastructure, data centers, wireless, intelligent buildings, security, AV, and workforce development.
Key voices
The conference combines technical programming with broader perspectives on AI, cybersecurity, leadership, and technology governance. Announced featured voices include futurist Nikki Greenberg, cybersecurity and AI strategist Theresa Payton, AI-governance expert Kay Firth-Butterfield, and emcee Holly Ransom.
Program and exhibition
The event begins with pre-conference education on February 14–15, followed by the Exhibit Hall from February 15–17 and educational sessions from February 16–18; the Awards Banquet is February 17. The published agenda includes masterclasses and sessions on passive optical LAN, cybersecurity, distributed antenna systems, high-density AI data centers, fault-managed power, Wi-Fi and 6G, post-quantum security, standards, and ICT career development.
What distinguishes it
BICSI positions Winter as its most established and technically focused event, aimed at designers, engineers, installers, technicians, project managers, and other professionals responsible for telecommunications and connected-building infrastructure. Compared with a broad technology expo, its emphasis is notably implementation-oriented: standards, design decisions, installation practices, infrastructure performance, demonstrations, and technical conversations around systems that must work in production environments.
In-person and on-demand access
In-person registration includes general and concurrent sessions, Exhibit Hall access, the Wednesday Awards Banquet, conference continuing education credits (CECs), and access to ICT Direct Winter 2027. That on-demand program runs March 1–31, 2027 and carries the conference educational presentations online, although it does not reproduce the Exhibit Hall or pre-conference masterclasses; attending both versions does not provide duplicate CECs for the same content.
