2027 State Leadership Conference – Georgia HOSA

The 2027 Georgia HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC) is Georgia HOSA’s major annual leadership and competitive-event gathering for future health professionals, scheduled for March 4–6, 2027, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Georgia HOSA expects more than 5,500 members, advisors, and guests, combining competition with professional development and recognition.

What happens at SLC

The conference represents the culmination of months of preparation for HOSA members, who demonstrate their health-science knowledge, technical skills, teamwork, and leadership through competitive events. Beyond competition, Georgia HOSA describes a program of educational symposiums, exhibitors, workshops, award presentations, scholarships, and the installation of new state officers.

Competition and preparation

Many students reach SLC through Georgia HOSA’s Regional State Qualifier, formerly called State Qualification Testing; Georgia HOSA notes that most, though not all, competitions require qualification.
