IAGP 99th Annual Convention and Trade Show
The IAGP 99th Annual Convention and Trade Show is the Illinois Association of Groundwater Professionals’ annual industry gathering, scheduled for February 11–12, 2027, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton East Peoria Riverfront Hotel & Conference Center. It combines continuing education, association business, a supplier trade show, and networking for Illinois groundwater professionals.
Education and CEUs
A major focus is professional continuing education. Friday offers ten one-hour classes in parallel tracks covering casing materials and corrosion, VFD troubleshooting, two- versus three-wire motors, bored wells, cable and trench safety, JULIE utility-locate updates, drilling fluids, pump diagnostics, and proper well-screen development. The published program allows attendees to earn up to six CEU hours, including one hour for attending the trade show.
Convention and trade show
Thursday centers on the association itself, with the IAGP Board of Directors meeting, lunch, annual meeting, and a trade-show session with happy hour from 3–6 p.m. Friday begins with another trade-show period before the technical classes, giving contractors and other groundwater professionals an opportunity to meet equipment and service suppliers alongside the educational program.
Who it serves
The convention reflects IAGP’s broader membership, which includes water-well drillers, pump installers, geothermal-loop contractors, technical drillers, and water-quality and treatment professionals. IAGP traces its history to 1928 and focuses on groundwater protection, professional education, advocacy, and industry professionalism in Illinois, making the annual convention one of its principal opportunities to bring those functions together.
Practical details
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. February 11 through 3:30 p.m. February 12, 2027, at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria. Published full-conference registration starts at $250 for IAGP members and $600 for nonmembers at the early rate; Friday-only options are also offered.
