 ning Session) is a free online tax-education program offered by the Colora
 do Department of Revenue’s Taxation Division. Scheduled for December 8\,
  2026\, at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time\, it is part of the department’s webi
 nar series for Colorado businesses and business tax professionals.\nWhat t
 he session covers\nThe webinar focuses on 2026 legislative developments af
 fecting Colorado taxation\, translating newly enacted changes into informa
 tion relevant to taxpayers and practitioners. The Department groups Legisl
 ative Updates with its recurring education on sales tax\, consumer use tax
 \, wage withholding\, contractor sales tax\, and special-event sales tax.\
 nWho it is for\nThe broader tax-education series is expressly designed for
  Colorado businesses and business tax professionals\, making this session 
 particularly relevant to accountants\, tax preparers\, payroll or finance 
 personnel\, and business owners who need to understand changes resulting f
 rom the 2026 legislative cycle. A separate Tax Professionals’ 2026 Legis
 lative Updates Webinar is scheduled for November 19\, while this morning s
 ession serves the department’s broader tax-education audience.\nContinui
 ng education\nContinuing Professional Education (CPE) credit is offered fo
 r the department’s webinars. The Department says it follows the joint NA
 SBA standards for issuing CPE credit\, although it is not itself registere
 d with NASBA\; CPAs licensed outside Colorado are advised to confirm their
  own state board’s sponsor requirements.\nMorning and afternoon sessions
