SUMMARY:Grangeville Border Days – 2027 Parades
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n116th Annual Grange
ville Border Days – 2027 Parades\nThe Grangeville Border Days parades ar
e a centerpiece of the 116th annual Border Days Independence Day celebrati
on in Grangeville\, Idaho\, scheduled for July 1–4\, 2027. The official
 program has parades at 2:00 p.m. on July 2\, 3\, and 4\, alongside rodeo\,
street sports\, arts and crafts\, and other community traditions.\nThree
days of parades\nRather than a single Fourth of July procession\, Border D
ays holds a 2:00 p.m. parade on three consecutive days: July 2\, July 3\,
and July 4. The format is part of a broader Western-themed celebration tha
t the local Chamber describes as one of North Central Idaho's major commun
 ity traditions\, built around parades\, Idaho's oldest rodeo\, entertainme
nt\, and the well-known egg toss.\nParticipating in the parade\nParade ent
ries are scheduled to open June 1 and close June 30\, 2027. Participants c
heck in each parade day at Patrick's Trucking\, 218 North C Street\, at le
ast 45 minutes before the 2:00 p.m. start and receive a lineup number\; en
tries must participate all three days to be eligible for awards. Water-spr
aying devices and open alcohol containers are prohibited.\nA full Border D
ays schedule\nThe parades sit within a packed daily rhythm: street sports
begin at 9:00 a.m. July 2–4\, including activities centered around Herit
age Square\, while rodeo performances are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. July 1
–3. Border Days runs July 1–4 overall\, making the parades part of a m
 ulti-day celebration rather than a stand-alone procession.\nWestern herita
ge and community tradition\nBorder Days combines Independence Day festivit
ies with Grangeville's Western and rodeo heritage. The Chamber highlights
parades\, live entertainment and the World's Largest Egg Toss alongside Id
aho's oldest rodeo\, giving the event a distinctly local mix of civic cele
 bration and rodeo culture.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
