 orkshop 2027\nIGNITE 2027—Individual Growth &amp\; New Ideas Through EPS
 CoR/INBRE—is an annual professional-development workshop organized by Al
 aska EPSCoR in partnership with Alaska INBRE. The fifth workshop is schedu
 led for January 8\, 2027\, on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus\, 
 bringing together researchers\, faculty\, staff\, and students.\nFormat an
 d audience\nThe one-day event uses separate tracks tailored to faculty and
  researchers\, undergraduate and graduate students\, and staff\, rather th
 an giving every attendee the same program. IGNITE is designed around prese
 ntations and discussion sessions that develop professional skills while cr
 eating connections across the University of Alaska research community\; th
 e broader annual program also welcomes UA affiliates and external research
  partners.\n2027 program\nAnnounced discussion topics for 2027 may include
  the state and federal funding landscape\, resilience\, translational rese
 arch\, and communicating with colleagues. That mix reflects IGNITE's pract
 ical focus: previous editions have addressed subjects including mentoring\
 , science communication\, grant writing\, presentations\, career developme
 nt\, and research practices.\nOrganizers\nThe workshop is a collaboration 
 between Alaska EPSCoR and Alaska INBRE\, two research-capacity-building pr
 ograms with overlapping interests in workforce and professional developmen
 t. Alaska EPSCoR's strategic plan describes IGNITE as an annual activity w
 ith tracks for research professionals\, staff\, and students\, with its lo
