Click, Clack, Moo is a family-friendly musical theatre production based on the popular children’s book by Doreen Cronin, illustrated by Betsy Lewin. Presented at the Swope Theater in Concord, New Hampshire, the show brings a humorous farmyard story to life through music, comedy and entertaining stage performances.

The story follows Farmer Brown and his granddaughter Jenny, who discover that the cows on their farm have started typing messages on a computer. The cows request warm blankets because the barn is cold, but Farmer Brown refuses their demands. The chickens then join the cows in solidarity, leading to a farmyard strike that creates an unexpected challenge for the farmer.

Through lively performances, songs and humour, the musical explores themes of communication, negotiation, teamwork, cooperation and compromise.

The production is designed for families and young audiences, offering an enjoyable theatrical experience while introducing children to ideas about problem-solving and peaceful negotiation.

The performance is part of the Capitol Center for the Arts’ family entertainment programme and welcomes children, parents, educators and theatre enthusiasts.
