Eggs & Issues 2027
Eggs & Issues 2027 is the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s of annual breakfast bringing Georgia business leaders and elected officials together at the opening of the state legislative session. Scheduled for January 13, 2027, from 6:30–9:30 a.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, it is expected to convene more than 2,500 people.
Why it matters
The event functions as an unofficial kickoff to Georgia’s legislative year, giving senior elected officials a prominent forum to outline policy priorities while business leaders signal issues important to the state economy. Historically, Eggs & Issues has featured the governor, lieutenant governor, House speaker and other political leaders, making it one of Georgia’s major annual intersections of business and public policy.
What happens there
The morning combines breakfast, networking and policy discussion rather than operating as a conventional trade conference. The Georgia Chamber describes the gathering as an opportunity to help set the economic agenda for the legislative year; the 2027 event runs three hours, from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Who attends
The audience is notably senior and statewide: business executives, civic leaders, elected officials and other stakeholders travel to Atlanta from across Georgia. Recent editions illustrate its scale—the Chamber ordinarily describes attendance as exceeding 2,500, while reporting on the 2026 gathering put participation above 3,000 business and civic leaders.
Venue and registration
The 2027 breakfast returns to the Georgia World Congress Center, at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, after the 2026 edition was held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Registration is being handled through the Georgia Chamber; its published cancellation policy allows a 50% refund when cancellation occurs at least 10 business days beforehand, while registrations can be transferred to another attendee before the event.
