The Nebraska Destination Imagination Affiliate Finals is the statewide championship tournament for student teams participating in the Destination Imagination programme.

The event brings together top-performing teams from Nebraska’s regional tournaments to showcase their creativity, teamwork, innovation and problem-solving abilities. Students from kindergarten through grade 12 participate in creative challenges involving science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).

During the competition, teams present their completed projects and solutions before evaluators. Participants also take part in Instant Challenges, which test their ability to think creatively, communicate effectively and work together under time constraints.

The tournament includes team presentations, challenge evaluations and an awards ceremony. Winning teams earn the opportunity to represent Nebraska at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri, in May 2027.

The event welcomes families and spectators who want to support young innovators and experience the students’ creative achievements.
