Reading Room Rumble is a free community video game tournament organised by the City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department.

The event takes place in the Central and Unser Library Community Room, where gaming stations are arranged for participants to enjoy friendly competition and open play.

Players can participate in accessible esports activities and compete in popular video games.

The programme promotes sportsmanship, community participation and friendly gaming among people of different skill levels.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own controllers, although spare equipment may be available upon request.

The top three competitors receive medals, and their achievements may be featured in Albuquerque’s Player Spotlight.

Parental or guardian supervision is required for children aged 12 and under.
